Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has asked National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga should prepare himself for the worst and a more humiliating defeat in the repeat presidential poll slated for next month.

Duale says that Odinga and his troops have a few weeks to celebrate Supreme Court victory, adding that they will be in a state of mourning after the repeat presidential poll.

The MP says that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win in the repeat poll is inevitable, adding that Odinga will not survive politically after the repeat poll.

“We are telling Raila Odinga celebrate now because in the next few weeks we will be sending him to where he belongs politically” he said as quoted by the Standard.

The MP said that they will force Odinga to political retirement since he has voluntarily refused to hang up his political boots.

“Since Raila has refused to retire gracefully, we will humiliate him on the ballot and send him to political oblivion,” the Garissa Township MP added.

The lawmaker asked Kenyans and Jubilee supporters not to despair but prepare for the repeat poll. He maintained that Raila does not have the numbers to challenge Uhuru’s re-election.

Duale alleged that the Supreme Court verdict that nullified Uhuru’s re-election was politically motivated.

The Jubilee MP appealed to Kenyans whether Jubilee or NASA to tone down and embrace peace ahead of the repeat presidential poll.

President Kenyatta will face off with Odinga in repeat presidential poll next month.

On Wednesday, Supreme Court judges while giving their detailed judgment on nullified presidential election asked the IEBC to strictly follow the law while conducting the fresh election

Chief Justice (CJ) David Maraga warned that the court will once again nullify the repeat election if IEBC fails to conduct it with the conformity of the law.
